Ok,
Ive played EQ2 a couple times. Once when it first came out. I quit, went to WOW. Came back for a couple days. Quit.
Heres my beef. I get my characters up to about 16th. I need to upgrade my spells. I go to the broker with 21sp. ALL of the money Ive made from level 1, off two characters mind you.
An apprentice IV was going for 4 gold. Twinkage inflation.
So I figure I will make my spells. I try gathering up materials. Spend time grinding through scrolls.
But I get 1 hour a night to play.
I was spending two days gathering and grinding for one night of playing. That just wasnt working. So went back to WOW, where I can just go to my class trainer and pay a non inflated price on a spell.
Now I really like the graphics of EQ2. I like the playstyle, lore and environment. But I dont want to spend so much time grinding through tradeskills.
Im sure most people dont feel that spending a couple hours doing that isnt much. But thats two days of playtime for me, and I feel like Im wasting what little free time I have.
Any comments or suggestions on this?
Thanks,
Mal
