I've been hearing lately that you get Vitality when you log out. What this does is increases the amount of experience you obtain from mobs when you kill them, until the Vitality runs out. Is this "Vitality" accumulated no matter where you are when you logout? How can you tell when you've consumed it all?
I feel like such a newbie in this game, but I find it very interesting, I must say I find the controlling of the character sometimes a bit awkward, as if there is a fraction of a second of a delay when you move your character. (sorry got off topic there)
I've been searching around here for a guide on crafting and the couple that I did find didn't work so well for me. Are there any newbie guides around here for crafting or could someone link for me? (ie where to go, what are your choices, what is artisan and scholar lvl 10 to 20??) I am almost ready to leave the starting island, and other then harvesting, I haven't done anything else. What would one suggest to craft for a bruiser? Can I level up mulitple crafts or just a couple? (as in WoW)
I appreciate the helpfulness of the community here. More so then I've ever seen, even more then FFXI. (WoW doesn't even register on the scale) As well on the game you can tell right away when you start that the maturity is much higher. Thanks for your responses all!
Another OT note: Is it just me or is the island totally different then a year ago? I remember before when I tried EQ2 that there was a trap door in the tower at the starting area, you had to go downstairs and sort out furniture etc? (cheesy)
Edit: Please disregard the crafting questions, I found a similar thread just a tad bit down, sorry.
