Does anyone know why this spell is not working properly ? My pet obeys to the commands that he/she should follow me or back off. I can't let it attack something or defend me or its self...

Why is the T'Lys Minor Familiar spell not working properly ?Follow
I believe this is the fun spell for your class. Think of him more as a slave than a lackey. He will only follow you and heed your commands, but he will not go to bat for you. So it is not broken. It was designed that way. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
