Has anyone heard whether there will ever be an Everquest for Xbox 360 or PS3?
Unlikely, definitely unlikely for the Xbox 360 ofcourse.
And PS3 got technical difficulties and has been delayed
so at this point slightly irrelevant.

Now, I speak very, very little japanese, so correct me if I'm wrong here but... EQII apears to have been published by Squeenix in japan, for PC of course. (This is SE's official site)
If EQII is in POL's segment of online games, then I find it quite possible that FFXI and EQII (Expecially after Sonys announcment of a HDD for PS3). Add in that PS3 and EQII are the creations of the same company and... well... Lets just say a PS3 version of EQII isnt that far feteched.
Xbox 360 version has probally about a 0% chance, for obvious reasons.
Just my 2 cents. I could very well be 100% off, just the ramblings of a hopefull sony fan.

If any system other then PC will get it, it will be the Playstation 3 for obvious reasons (Sony system). I doubt Sony would release a game on a rival system.
I would say though if it makes it to the ps3 it will be seperate servers and probably not has good. I personalyl wouldn't want to play a MMORPG on a console because of no keyboard support. I know keyboards can usually be bought for a console, but if I have to use a keyboard with a console then I would just assume play on my PC.

When FFXI debuts on Xbox 360, you will have to use a keyboard to play (on a console). I look at a PC monitor for 9 hours a day at work, so when I come home I do not want to look at another PC monitor for my recreational play time. I want to sit in my recliner, have a keyboard on my lap, and look at my HD widescreen TV.
I have played both FFXI and EQ2, and actually prefer EQ2. However, the reason I quit playing EQ2 was because it is only available by PC (EQ1 doesn't have the graphics I need). If EQ comes out on PS3, I will probably stop playing FFXI and switch over to EQ.
