Im sure alot of people didn't evne play back when you didn't have to attune armor, but for those who did you know how much money a player loses, especially when it involves items made with rares. Ever since attuneing came into play I am scared to upgrade my armor except for the every 10 levels that is needed for obvious reasons.
Anyways something I think would be nice is if SOE would let all classes earn/get a skill that will turn a handcrafted item back into its original main component. So for example you hit lvl 40 and are upgradeing that set of feysteel armor. Instead of losing 5 to 7 pp you could refine each piece into a piece of faysteel and resell it on the market. This would make players happy cause we don't have to take a 10000% loss on our equipment when we outgrow it, and it should keep SOE happy that brokers are not clogged up with 100's of the same items. To be able to do this it could all be lvl 10 artisan recipes for those who are not into tradeskilling, and maybe even have a quest and or rare drop to get the recipe(s) to do this.
Granted this wouldn't be worth the time for non rare items, but it would be really helpful for all those rare items. I just think its crappy players have to lose so much money every 10 levels when they sell there upgraded stuff to a vendor for practically nothing.
