Note: I am pretty sure it's already been discussed, but I can't find it so...
I am currently looking for the leather versus cloth armor sets pros and cons. I found out that using cloth would increase avoidance, but decrease mitigation, and that leather seems to carry more +str with it...
What I also found is that using a leather boot instead of cloth one would remove 1% of avoidance, even if both items gives the same +agi. Of course, using leather would almost double the mitigation.
Now what would be nice to know is what would be the ratio between mitigation and avoidance. As a 25 monk, I have 416 mitigation, and 56.5% of avoidance, switching to leather, I would have 498 mit. and 52.8%.
Can someone attest that +2 agi gives about 0.01% avoidance? If so, maybe at higher level, a monk can get enough +agi to make the avoidance hit 75% or so, making mitigation a lot less usefull.
Thanks for your inputs...
