Hi, I left Eq about 15 months ago and have been searching for a substitute. I have done guild wars for a month, shadowbane for a few days, eve for 2 months, wow for 4 months and doac for a few hours. Each one of those games were alright in some ways but what they all had missing was the magical 'it'. Eq had 'it' and now I am trying the eq trial scenario (trial of the isle) to see if that is a substitute. I could go back to eq but I feel that it would be a step backwards and also it woud be expensive because I do not have the cd's anymore. I have a few questions concerning eq2, if they have been asked before I apologise.
1 Does it have a harder leveling curve than wow? I got to 60 within 6 weeks where in eq it took me 9 months to het to 65. I find that the eq approach was better.
2 Do people who played eq find that it has the same 'feel' as the original?
3 Is there any area's like pok or lagforge that suck in peak playing times?
4 Is there any eu servers or what are the most popular servers in general?
5 The newer servers on wow where full of immature idiots who used the general channal for flaming each other and other people. Is the eq2 population more considerate/mature?
6 I work sporadic hours and I love warriors, can you easily solo in this game. In eq I soloed most of the time and at times it was really hard, is it easier in eq2?
Thanks for your patiance and time. Be seeing you soon.
