I assumed there was a nonspoken rule of common courtesy when it comes to harvesting. Everyone I know will not harvest from a node that already has someone there. And if someone is killing something on top of a node you leave it alone. Such is the way I am used to. maybe my friends and I arenaive, or a minority. But it really pisses me off when others dont follow the unspoken rule.
So today I have a couple hours to kill which is extremely rare. I never harvest any rares but I keep thinking to myself the next time will be it. I run into SS and check out the croc cave. It is THE place to harvest ore. I look around, no one is here, so I dig in.
5 minutes later someone else runsup beside me and starts to harvest the node Im working on. In say I say "Hi there. Im working on this one... Im sure you can find another right down the cavern". No response. He continues. I finally leave and head down looking for more. I find another and pick away. Hes right behind me and does it again.
"Hey dude... common courtesy... find another node..." nothing again.
It happened two more times. I finally left to go group with my husband for a quest, but I was reallypissed by the lack of courtesy. I'm assuming he was a farmer, which pisses me off even more.
So, I guess Id like to know what everyones thought on the Harvest rule is. Do you join someone on a node? Do you leave it alone if someone is there?
