My pleasure.
Keep in mind that there are several flavors of Fighter and they all do things a bit differently. When you begin, you'll be on the Isle of Refuge and you'll pick your starting class - in your case, a fighter (if you so select).
On the IoR you'll do quests to get a beginning set of armor and weapons, find a little loot, learn the mechanics of play, then at level 6 head to your main city in Qeynos.
From there, talk to every NPC you can find to do as many quests as you can find. You'll get even better armor, exp, weapons, cash, food/drink, and even some furniture for your room. You could almost get to level 13 just by doing quests.
When you are level 9 about to make 10, you'll need to go find the Fighter Trainer. He'll give you some mini-quests to discover what the different archtyes do. Your choice will be Warrior, Brawler, or Crusader. Check out
this link for a breakdown. Depending on what archtype you pick at level 10 will determine what final choice you get at level 20.
At level 19 you go back to the Trainer and he'll send you on more mini-quests for you to decide what your final choice will be. If you picked Warrior at level 10, then your choice at level 20 will be Berzerker or Guardian.
If you want a full list of skills for each class, check
this out.
Good luck and hope to see you on Najena. :)
