I decided the other day to give EQ2 another go. While I still plan on playing WoW, I am going to switch back and forth to break up the repitition of playing one game alone. I would like to say that I was pleasantly suprised!
First of all, I have been away for quite a while. I left about last Christmas, a couple of months after launch, and I was not really liking the state of the game at that point. Encounters were being made harder to slow progress, many items were bugged, and some, like poisons, were nearly worthless, since you could not know exactly what they did.
So now, food has good explanations, I have not come across one broken item or quest, the interface has been fixed to give the full playing screen, instead of those horrible black bars that used to be at the tops and bottoms. I am very nicely suprised at how this game has come along!
My question is this, though: One of my major beefs with EQ2 was the way that selling was done. I did not like how you had to stay online, in your house to sell things. But, I asked someone yesterday if you still had to do that, and they said that you did not! I could just put the item in my vault, price it, and leave! But how do I put things in the vault? Was this person right, that you do not have to be online to sell items? If this is true, than that is one of my major gripes gone!
Thank you!
