Bluie, I think they already changed that in one of the latest patches. Writs involving Pioneers and frostfins I believe.
What I'm wondering is if, when LU13 goes through, will some guilds actually gain or lose xp, similar to the way they did with LU12? Some of that xp gain/loss was from a bad reporting error in the xp code, but some of it wasn't. I always worry when SOE does a change involving any kind of divisor, as it always seems to go a little wonky.
As far as trimming the fat, I hope most guilds elect not to do this, particularly if they are way over the 24 unique accounts. EQ2 is about having a good time, building teamwork and friendships, and getting to acomplish your goals, with or without others helping. I personally love doing writs and HQ's, but many in my guild couldn't be bothered. That's why I was made a patron and they weren't. Now that every guildmate will have an impact, i don't wont those who don't want to do writs be punished because that isn't their cup of tea. We'll all reach lvl30 at some point, and from talking to some friends who have attained lvl30, it really isn't that big a deal. Not to down play all their hard work on such a daunting task, but they have all told me it really was a let down, and nothing has really changed for them. Sure they can buy the flying carpet or spirit horse, but the coolness of that wore off very quickly. Lvl30 is a goal, but it's not The Goal. I hope most guilds remember this.
