Hey there. I have a lot of questions... bear with me! :D
I'm a 60 rogue on WoW now, and was a 65 cleric through half of Elementals before I quit. I'm in a so-called "casual raiding guild" now(yes, they don't work.) and was in a raiding guild for a good while in EQ.
1. EQ was mainly a grinding game for exp, but a group grind. WoW is solo quest/solo grind for the most part, with instances to go along with it. What is EQ2?
2. In EQ, a group consisted of a tank, slower, healer, and 2 random DPS. There were definitely classes that were rare and needed - cleric/enchanter/shaman to name a few. In WoW, an instance run must also have rare classes - priest, warlock, warrior, and mage. To exp or to go on a loot run, are there these classes? If so, what are they?
3. In EQ, craft skills were horrible. In WoW, they were more fun, but "gathering" skills were still pretty horrible. How are they in this game?
4. The end game in EQ was mostly fun - Planes of Power raids were completely amazing. Luclin I'd rather forget about. The end game in WoW is crap - the only end-game instance worth speaking of now is Molten Core, a Vex Thal-lite intsance. How is it in EQ2? Lots? Little? PoP ish? Vex Thal to the extreme?
That's it for now...
