Hi,
I'm currently a Level 24 human Paladin.
I've noticed there are alot of barbarian Paladins also.
Can anyone tell me, which race is better for a Paladin?
I chose human, thinking it would be better than a barbarian, as humans would have a higher wisdom. Thus does a high wisdom make pally spells more powerfull, or have any other beneficial effects?
If not, maybe I should have chosen barbarian as a race, due to the higher strength.
Any info is appreciated.

Wisdom is the secondary power stat for a paladin. However, strength is the power stat for all fighters. Therefore, I would assume that strength gives you more power than wisdom, but I've not actually tested this out myself.
Starting stats really don't matter that much in the long run. For a few levels, it might be a little harder to play a weaker race, but it won't be long before that evens out; 5 or 10 more strength isn't a big deal. Mostly, race is cosmetic, so pick the one you think looks best. :)

Each race has their advantages...my ratonga pallie may not have the strength of a barbarian or larger type, but she has good agility to make up for it. Play what you think is cool...just made 37 a few nights ago, but then again I don't play alot. So getting to high levels won't be dependent on what race you are!
