Would anyone mind explaining the new system with the subclass dealies? i seem to see random mentions of it across different forums but im not real sure what it is? Is it like Guild Wars or FFxi where you can pick another class as a secondary to add some abilities and stuff? If so does it affect ability to wear equip/ amount of hp/mp and what kind of spells/abilities of the professions can you get?
Any race can be any class. Litteraly. I've seen gnome paladins, Ogre Wizards, etc etc.
When you start out you chose if you want to be a fighter, mage, priest, or scout.
When you hit level 10, you chose a more specific class. For example, if you started as fighter, you could go to brawler, or crusader, etc.
If you chose mage, you could go to sorcerer, or enchanter, or summoner.
If you chose scout, go to bard, or rogue, or predator.
If you chose priest, you can go to shammy, druid, or cleric I think (I've never played a priest)
THEN, as if that weren't enough, when you hit 20 you chose again. Crusader can go to Shadowknight, or Paladin. Bard to Troubador, or Dirge, Sorcerer to Wizard or Warlock, etc etc.
I spent 10 minutes today looking up the future spells of troubadors and dirges, because I had the choice of chosing either with my Froglok Bard. All frogs start out good, and should go to troubador if you chose the bard profesion, but I did the betrayal quest with him, making him an evil froggy. Which gave me the choice to go Dirge.
Make any sense? Or am I rambling?
Or both?
