It is VERY good Tjskrat that you asked this as those that have been playing the game for awhile could point you to good sites that have the best info.
And if that is actually what had happened I would agree with you. But that's not what he asked, not even close. If he had said "Hey guys, I've been looking for some GOOD EQ2 sites. I've searched the net and found some decent ones, but a lot of crap too. Can anyone point me to some of the better sites for EQ2?" he would have gotten a very different response.
Instead he basically said "hey guys, I'm lazy, tell me what sites give me the basic info to play EQ2 so I don't have to do anything" or at least that's how it came across. So he got the response one would expect for that kind of question.
If you want intelligent responses to your questions, you should carefully phrase your request/question. If you want flames, then come across as stupid (lack of basic spelling, grammer, punctuation, l33t speak, dude speak, etc), come across as lazy, come across as wanting everything for no effort.
Now, the OP had a bad day and phrased himself badly, but eventually it all straightened out, and that's good.
So lets just let it go at that, and learn from this post and others like it that written communication is NOT the same as verbal communication. Nobody can hear you smile, nobody can hear that you are confused or puzzled. All they see is the written word, and its often misconstrued.
Nearly everyone here is very happy to help answer intelligent and thoughtful questions, that's one reason we hang out here. To help others is a good feeling.
