I'll try to answer a couple of points.
The monthly fee is 14.95.
They give us updates and patches, usually every couple of days, sometimes several days in a row. Since the game is still fairly new, they are still making quite a few adjustments.
Supercomputer? Well, maybe. EQ2 is designed to grow with computer specs. Right now, there are very few computers out there than can run EQ2 at the highest settings. My computer is low end (1.7 processor, 128 meg ATI vid card, 768 megs RAM), and I have to turn some of the settings down or off. The game still looks good and is playable, though.
No coaches, but you can ride a griffon around the Commonlands and Antonica. Paladins and Shadow Knights get a horse at level 20, but it's not very fast. Mostly just for show.
The level cap is currently 50.
I'm having fun with the game. I don't play as hardcore as I did with EQ1, but then, that's a good thing, heh. I actually get things done outside the game now. My highest toon is only lvl 23, but I'm not in any hurry to level up.
Hope this helped some.
