"you might want to reconsider putting a regen spell on the tank before the pull as it is likely to cause the aggro to go immediately to you."
I just want to clarify. If you do ANY spell BEFORE the pull, you generate absolutely NO aggro. That is the time to buff and ward safely. It is after the pull during the fight that you gain aggro through those actions. You are totally safe placing a regen spell on someone before a battle. ~big smile~
And Follier, I have the opposite problem. People have yelled at me for conserving power for healing and not nuking in a fight. You just can't please everyone! It seems a lot of tanks have their own idea of how they should be healed, regardless of our own knowledge and ability.
For the most part I group with my guild and have no issues, as everyone knows I am a compitent healer. But when I have gone outside of the guild I have encountered people with attitudes.
At (or abouts) level 22 I was given a Master Bestowal of Vitae. What does this mean? That no one ever died when they were with me. It was very powerful, and the only thing I ever needed to cast. So powerful, that I held it in reserve until the last possible moment or it was just a waste. This got me yelled at several times by nervous tanks. I would say, "Look, has anyone died? No. Calm down! I know what I am doing!" Half the time my assurances just weren't good enough.
Like I said, you can't please everyone. ~sigh~
