As far as an officer/GL kicking every non officer out of the guild being immature, I would need more info. In some cases it would be, in some cases it wouldnt.
It was the singular act of 1 officer, acting on his own will. He removed approximately 30 people from the guild, then removed himself. I know it was his act alone because once I logged back on and saw that I had been removed, I asked other officers what had happened. None at the time knew, but they immediately reinvited me. Later, one of the coleaders said that he had been logged on his alt (who also is in the guild but isn't an officer) said he saw the members starting to get removed. He then saw the person in question remove themselves, and that was the last of it. Another point is that I had earned the most standing for our guild at that time. Unless the leader or the officers wanted to hurt the guild severely, I doubt they'd kick out the highest ranked member. Also, one of the officers is a friend who I've played with quite frequently, we even betrayed Freeport together.

There are mature people playing just have to look and you will see them.
I wasn't trying to say that there weren't mature people out there, I was more or less wondering why on all the guild recruitment threads and messages I see it requires a minimum age (normally 18) followed by "we're a mature guild" or something to that affect. It seems that they assume that anyone over the age of 18 is mature.
And no, I'm not upset just because I'm under the age of 18. In fact, I just had my 19th birthday 2 days ago.
