Are they selling new "adventure packs"?
Only if you want to buy them. I personally don't. But geez, they cost less than freaking chesseburger at McDonalds. Just how cheap are you to complain about something like that? Let's see.... hours and hours of new game content or, a cheeseburger? Okay go blow your money on a used box of condoms or something but one question, what on earth is wrong with offerring optional content - the key word here being
optional of course. If you don't want to buy it then
don't buy it. Pretty simple.

But I wont go back to EQ2. Sorry. That is me.
Okay. Just curious but when you decided to play WoW did you start a thread on some random WoW forum stating, "Pasho is playing WoW now!" Thanks for giving me the heads up so the next time I login so I'll know not to look for you amongst the hundreds of thousands of other players.
BTW, despite all the hype there seems to be a lot of whining and complaining on the WoW forums if you would direct yourself there and care to look, including a 134 page thread of people wanting a full month's refund because of the endless server crashes.
I've played both games. WoW is a good game for beginners and people that don't have a lot of time. But its child's play compared to EQ 2 and that's the truth. In fact, I would rate the game play and graphics beneath many single player RPG titles such as Morrowind. In truth, thats exactly what WoW is to me. A glorified single player game with high end PvP, i.e. a more sophisticated Diablo with crappier graphics (yea, I prefer Diablo's ancient graphics) to that /blah and /bland look that is WoW. At least Diablo's graphics have some depth to them. When I look at WoW's graphics I feel nothing in terms of visual stimulation. Just a boring looking game overall. The whole game looks like bad watercolor.
Any way, like I said. A word or two for those people that are thinking about buying one of these games and are looking for advice. EQ 2 is the superior game. Graphics, Depth of Gameplay, Character Development and Options, World Immersion, Roleplaying, Community, Crafting, Enivironments, Quests, Overall Challenge, User Interface (you can make your UI in EQ 2! How cool is that!?),etc. Heck there is even email in EQ 2 now LOL which totally cracks me up. If you want an easy game that might be fun for the short term then buy WoW. But if you want a game that has some meat to it and is ahead of technological curve in terms of graphics buy Everquest 2. That would be my advice.
