Coming from Freeport, I have different mobs and whatnot. So. To answer your questions. You're a lvl 10 warrior, great choice if you're new. I guess learning the terms for casters would be kinda difficult. Few sides notes
LFG= Looking for group (you can't group with people too high, or people too low)
If I were you I'd do as MANY quest as possible. If you go through your journal, you'll notice that the colors of the text in your journal correspond to the difficulty of the quest. If the quest letters are Red, don't attempt it yet. If it's Blue, white, green, you can handle them by yourself more than likely. You'll get a lot of money from soloing by yourself, this is where my income comes from most of the time. I also hear that if you harvest A LOT, you can eventually harvest some pretty rare stuff. So think about that as well. Your house will come important once you start selling. But eventually the 5 silver every week is chump change. I have about 75 silver at the moment (I had 4 gold, spent it all on armor.. you'll have to do this eventually as well)
As for the usage of your skills. I guess it all depends. As a warrior your main job is just to keep aggro. If you're by yourself, move at whatever rate you're comfortable at, use your skills all you want. But when you're in a group, I normally don't care about DPS seeing as that's the other classes job. I simply hit hard enough just to keep the aggro of the mob. But when the time comes to seriously do damage, my skills can hit for 100 and I'm only a lvl 20 guardian. Until you hit 16, just solo most of the way. And do as many quest as possible. And remember that you can always sell loot to PC's for at least twice as much as the NPC.
