Maybe it is something that comes with level.
I am starting to see examples of KoS mobs which do not path or warp back to their spawn point when their target dies or zones. They wander back and seem quite happy to attack people in the way. Especially if you are in a position near where they were pulled from (but out of aggro range if they had not been pulled).
This is not surprising behaviour in the sense that it is a bit wierd to see mobs that would happily kill you if you were 50 yards down the corridor just sail past.
However I have yet to see anyone call a train. I know we come here from all sorts of backgrounds and this might not have happened in other games but when dragging half a dozen KoS mobs through other groups it used to be normal to at least warn them.
What makes it particularly bad in EQ2 is the quests that merely require you to visit a location. I was in a dungeon the other day where there is such a quest and what players were doing was running into a room full of KoS mobs until their journal updated and then run for the zone dragging the whole roomful behind them - unengaged and loose. We were fighting at a "safe spot" out of aggro range of the room but the mobs would jump us on their way back if we didn't take care.
What's the consensus?
A. People should call trains
B. So long as I zoned WTF do I care
C. Mobs should not attack until properly introduced - /petition
