Wow, still down...
Speaking of WoW, this is a good time to scroll up and look at the top right hand corner - and go over to Alla's WoW site to see what they have to offer. I'm not saying it's better, but it's worth a look (if you never have - until this I never had).
It looks a little cartoonish, but it also looks like more thought was given to giving the player a little more room. Funny, I'm not the only player who feels EQ2 has us on a short leash - others who have left EQ2 for WoW over there say the exact same thing - the newness wore off really fast, and I felt I was on way to short a leash - so I went to WoW.
Unfortunately we bought really longterm accts w/ EQ2... well, maybe by the time they run out this game might finally offer me a "full" experience - and not just graphics w/ no tactics.
And for goodness sakes there is no reason to flame me for this one. Go ahead if you must, but sheesh, it's okay for me to point out that the other game exists. I say this because I've been locking horns w/ some of you "loyal-to-the-death" Sony fans ... again, let me humbly submit - be EQ fans, not Sony fans. And realize, those of us who do complain, those of us who aren't satisfied w/ "middlin'" offerings from the lord high devs ---> we're helping you out in the long run. If everyone just mildly and meekly accepted the crumbs that game devs tossed at em, hell, we'd still be playing PONG right now. Hehehe. GL all. Do give Alla's WoW site a peek (go to guides and read the Hunter lvl 1 to 20 one - it gives good insight on how that game is different).
