There is a troll I think in Big Bend(Freeport) that rambles on about frogloks, who might have something to do with the quest because he said a lot but didn't give me a quest liked I was expecting.

Yea I talked to him as well, he was kinda long winded. Basically all he talked about how he lost his home and family and how hot it was, the swamps were boiling even the mud and he hears the screams of the froglocks. He rambles on a bit, guess if your into lore it's worth talkin to him. Don't think he has anything to do with unlocking them tho.

I can't wait to have a little Froaker! With the agility and dexterity of a frog, I'm thinking I'll have one bad **** little monk froaker. ::FROOOAAAKK:: Oops, did I say froaker?

Little Froaker leaps into the air and delivers a stunning flipper kick...Little froaker ducks and parries lashing out with a tongue flick! (you might want to make certain you are night fighting dorf females when you use the tongue flick. You might become their pet ::smirk::) ::FRRROOOOOAAAAAKKKKK::

Anyway, bring on the FROOAAAKERSS!!

Bwaahahaaaa.

I bet those dorf ladies go wild for that.

Teehee.

BTW, sorry Alla. We're not really making progress, are we?

Possibly they fled to Luclin? After all, that's where the enemy couldn't easily get(and it ain't in game.)

I have information on the Frogloks. If interested in ever seeing the slimy little creatures again, you will all send me 1 billion dollars in unmarked bills to the corner of fifth and main, no police, no questions, and there will be no trouble >:D

Sorry to break it to ya... Luclin is gone. It blew up ;)

Hail all,

I wanted to link to my forum that is based solely on the Froglok unlocking quest. It'll have places to post your findings, server progression, and also a place to look for people to do the quest with:

http://bubbleman011.proboards2.com/

Just note the rules. If the colors bother you...I am in the process of trying to pick good colors, so I will be testing that.

Happy questing, hope we unlock them soon. =)

Well, according the official lore the froggies retreated into Guk when the Rallosian army destroyed Gukta. So I'm thinking some lush swampy, over grown valley with the froggy versions of the Eloi and Morloks(sp? think those were the Time Machine tribes).

Kinda.. off topic

However i've been doing a TON of quests as im sure most of you are also. Has anyone actually received any type of quest from a frog npc? I haven't...thought it was kinda weird even the guards give quests. Then again maybe i just havent found one yet :P

Luclin kind of um...exploded. If they fled to luclin, some time within the last 500 years there was a frog-gut meteor shower.

At any rate, many of the frogloks in castleview hamlet mention something about talking to them if you have info on their lost kin. Maybe find something and return to them later? But it could just be flavor text.

Yes I have. One of the frog Vendors gives a quest. Then there's another frog in a fountain that wants muddy water.

The "Lore Video" when you log into the game for the first time is a summarized version of the (at game launch 11 chapters) storyline at http://eq2players.station.sony.com/lore_index.vm

I believe in chapter 6 it describes how the newly risen Rallosian army invaded Gukta. Prior to the invasion the majority of the froglok civilization retreated into Guk so more than likely that is where the class will be unlocked.
